Rubek is a minimalist color based puzzle game. Roll a cube to pick up and match correct colors on the floor, as you make your way to reach the end point while figuring out a way to solve the puzzles. Play through 75+ handcrafted levels of mind bending difficulty and collect stars.
The idea of Rubek was conceived when Himanshu was still working from his bedroom on Super Nanno Jumpers. He had acquired an acute case of jaundice and was bedridden for three months. The doctor had adviced him to avoid using the computer which prevented him from working. During this time he got the idea to make a puzzle game based on cubes and colors. Since he couldn't use the computer, he created a paper prototype and tested his ideas. Encouraged by the possibilities he discussed his concepts with Govardhan over the phone who was then working in China but was about to return. Soon work on the game began, but the team of two faced many difficulties in getting the game to look good. They had almost dropped the project when one day they stumbled on some concept art of a minimalist game with strong emphasis on color. When they adopted a similar look for Rubek they knew that they had created something special.
